Our team is small but mighty, and we are looking for a Sales Representative to join our FPC family in Oak Brook, IL. Position Overview:

We are growing our sales force and seeking an experienced Sales Representative located in the Greater Chicago area. We are looking for individuals that can thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a positive can-do attitude, integrity, and excellent communication skills.

This position is best suited for a hands-on salesperson who is looking to grow his/her career. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your business acumen by selling to a variety of customers in the food sector while working and learning from a stable company with a rich history.

The ideal candidate has a high level of energy, self-direction, and accountability and continually strives to meet/exceed goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Provide consultative sales solutions to existing customers and prospects
  • Lead new business development efforts by executing on opportunities that lead to sources of new revenue, new markets, and new capabilities
  • Demonstrate the skill to leverage our value proposition against price
  • Attend industry conferences and team meetings
  • Effective territory and account management as well as meeting/exceeding sales targets

Key Competencies

  • Passionate about effectively implementing sales strategies and tactics that create differentiation, and build lasting customer advocacy
  • Ability to effectively manage time to prioritize results-oriented activity.
  • Prior experience in key account development is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent presentation skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and effective usage of CRM system and sales database management, excellent skills with Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to build strong and trusting internal and external relationships
  • Effective problem solving and active listening skills with a level of curiosity to uncover customer’s needs and determine a viable solution
  • Represent ForeFront Packaging in a positive light by being recognized as a go-to resource that strengthens customer relationships and sustainable business levels
  • 2-5 years of experience successfully selling within the packaging industry, experience with flexible and rigid packaging formats is preferred, but not required
