Customer Service Representative - Hybrid / Remote Schedule!

Location: Lemont, IL

Pay: $50-57K

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Corporate Customer Service (Processing customer orders, Order Entry)
• Intermediate MS Excel Skills

Responsibilities:

• Respond timely and professionally to our customers by e-mail to answer inquiries, manage orders, or adjust existing orders; working in multiple systems simultaneously to obtain information
• Reference inventory levels prior to entering order within system. Once level of inventory is sufficient, enter order and provide updates to customer on delivery timeline
• Review contracts with customers
• Process 40-100 customer orders daily within SAP and MS Excel according to standard operating procedures, confirming customer purchase order information, such as availability of product, quantity, and ship date
• Confirm changes are accurately entered into all systems and communications completed in a timely manner to our internal team and external customer as required
• Act as liaison between our internal and external customers to ensure customer expectations are met (internal departments include sales, quality, production, transportation, and finance)
• Verify production of product, quality release, shipping availability, and address any other requests
• Suggest solutions and alternatives when we are not able to meet our customer requests
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned to meet business needs
