Job Description

We are seeking a Manager / Sr. Manager, Sales Planning & Analytics to join our Commercial team, where you will be directly supporting the Sales team leading key strategic, operational, and tactical functions.   

As a key member of Evolus’ Global Insights and Analytics team, you will function as a business partner to the Sales organization in a key role directly supporting their efforts to drive growth and achieve success.  This role will demand expertise on matters related to field compensation, reporting and analytics, forecasting, territory alignments, sales force sizing and structure, and other Sales productivity related functions.

Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:

  • Own all facets of sales compensation including development, reporting, dashboards, and awards.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of processes and procedures to support the Sales organization.
  • Communicate directly with sales leadership on key initiatives and operational topics.
  • Supervise projects with supporting vendors and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Design, implement and continuously optimize sales forecasts, methodologies, and governance.
  • Conduct critical analyses and provide an interpretation of findings to support key decisions.
  • Provide strategic and operational support, focusing on maximizing the effectiveness of the Sales team.
  • Construct, deploy, and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators
  • Develop sales force structure, size and deployment to maximize sales performance.
  • Partner with Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, etc. to develop strategies and tools to support Sales.
  • Other related duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in an analytical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations related roles.
  • Management Consulting, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CPG industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Experience using SFDC, BI tools, Tableau, Javelin, Data Warehouses, and/or Python/R is preferable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business acumen.
  • Able to think critically, identify gaps and develop a plan to address those issues.

A Few Other Items Worth Mentioning:

  • Office location – Newport Beach or Remote.
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.
  • Position reports directly to our Director, Field Operations & Sales Analytics
