People Operations Assistant

As a member of Innovation Group North America’s (IGNA) People Operations team, the People Operations Assistant serves as a day-to-day administration and planning resource for the organization. This part-time role will greatly impact IGNA’s employee experience, visitor experience, and daily office functions. We are seeking a do-er, a go-getter – someone who values delivering an excellent experience.


This is a Monday-Friday, part-time opportunity with a flexible, agreed upon schedule.


What you’ll do:

  • Manages IGNA visitor experience including access badges, welcome materials, refreshments, accommodations, and other necessary bookings.
  • Manages internal office announcement monitors with up-to-date content.
  • Assists in the coordination of office events including employee gatherings and regular Town Hall meetings.
  • Serves as point of contact for office building management.
  • Coordinates relationships with nearby hotels and restaurants.
  • Manages office vendors and office supplies, including office postage machine.
  • Opens and distributes office mail.
  • Manages organization’s seating and office space logistics.
  • Assists with human resource information systems, reporting, compensation/payroll, and benefits when needed.


What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience as an office, administrative, or human resources assistant preferred.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite
