Job Description
PayJunction is seeking a business development representative. This candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is looking to jump-start a career in tech sales. Though PayJunction has steadily grown for over 20 years, our inside sales team is still relatively new. Thus, we are looking for people who will bring curiosity, ingenuity and passion to the team each day. Come join us in disrupting the payment processing industry!

PayJunction’s business development representatives will act as a first point of contact for our future clients, a key cog in forming the long-lasting relationships we pride ourselves on.

Responsibilities
  • Identify high-quality leads through asking a series of qualifying questions.
  • Generate new leads via outbound cold calls and emails; manage inbound leads as well.
  • Consistently attain a call volume of 50-60 cold calls per day.
  • Use our tech stack, including Salesforce, Linkedin Sales Navigator, and Outreach, to properly manage accounts.
  • Serve as an expert on our product and services as to effectively demonstrate our value proposition.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks deemed necessary for the position by the supervisor.
Skills & Requirements
  • Passion for continuous learning in the field of sales.
  • Able to quickly learn the tools and skills needed for success in the business development representative role.
  • Ability to build rapport and create connections with varying personality types over the phone.
  • Competitive in nature while still being a team-player. 
  • Willing to act on and give feedback.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • "Winner" persona with high motivation and ability to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
  • Candidates with diverse work experience in sales and hospitality are encouraged to apply.

Minimum High School Degree or equivalent
