Job Description

Garden Center Associate

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Bloomington within the sales industry.

Garden Center Associate Job Summary:

SEASONAL opportunity!
Unload, unpack, and display live goods at retail locations
Assist retail management in training associates in proper plant care
Watering and caring for plants; indoor and outdoor
Train and assist in product placement and presentation
Provide a line of communication between suppliers and retailer
$13 - $15/hour
*Full or Part Time Opportunities*

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of team
Must be able to stand for your whole shift
Must be able to lift/move/carry pots and trays of flowers and hanging baskets weighing up to 30lbs
Must be able to push/pull up to 50lbs (with assistance on heavier racks)
Strong communication skills
Access to internet via smartphone
Experience in retail or customer service is preferred
Willingness to work outdoor in all kinds of weather
Must be able to work weekends and some Holidays
