Product Expert

Armasight®, the leading global Brand, Manufacturer and Supplier of Night Vision, Thermal Imaging, Electro-Optics and Laser Systems for dismounted soldier, law enforcement, sport shooting, hunting and other small arms applications, is looking for an experienced Product Expert to join its industry-leading customer care team.
The Armasight Product Expert assists customers through email and phone with the selection and use of Armasight products. The Representative will also process requests for repair and monitor the status of repairs throughout the process, preparing estimates for repair and invoicing customers once the repairs are completed.
***Knowledge of Night Vision and Thermal products is required – product use, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and manufacturing knowledge are desired for this position.***
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements of the Product Expert
- Experience with the use and operation of Night Vision and Thermal products required, knowledge of design, engineering, and manufacture of Night Vision and Thermal products a plus
- Excellent verbal communication and Customer Service skills required
- Experience with MS Office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel), email programs and internet browsers required, experience with PayPal a plus
- Minimum of 1-year combined experience in retail, technical sales, mail order, internet sales, or customer service required
- Excellent written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and vocabulary required
- Knowledge of etiquette governing internet forums and chat communication required
- Patience, empathy, and friendliness in dealing with customers required
- Willingness to see customer issues through to resolution required
Duties & Responsibilities of the Armasight Product Expert
- Answer incoming telephone inquiries from prospective and existing customers
- Answer incoming emails from prospective and existing customers
- Provide Technical Support for Armasight products
- Answer product questions and make product recommendations
- Process RMAs for repair requests
- Provide estimates for repair after products are evaluated
- Prepare invoices for repaired items
- Answer questions about the company and its policies
- Distribute incoming emails to appropriate departments i.e. Commercial Sales Inquiries, Requests for Quotations, Legal, Marketing, Donations, etc.
- Participate in ongoing product training
- Other duties as assigned
