International Sales Specialist

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a qualified International Sales Specialist to be responsible for the overall satisfaction of international customers by delivering prompt, efficient and professional customer support and product knowledge via phone, email and face-to-face interactions.

As an International Sales Specialist, you will

  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Recommend products to customers by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  • Work closely with international team and management to formulate quotes, obtain status of orders, resolve product inquiries, etc.
  • Process customer orders/exchanges/returns according to established department policies and procedures
  • Verify and update customer profile information as required, such as the name on account, billing/shipping address, and credit card information
  • Inform the shipping department of any specific shipping requirements
  • Act as the primary customer point-of-contact for all international accounts regarding customer questions, concerns and/or complaints
  • Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns
  • Respond to user comments on social media posts and provide customer support for any inquiries received in a timely matter
  • Generate export documents for customer and freight forwarders ensure documents comply with International Trade Agreements
  • Develop efficient sales strategies to optimize international client prospects
  • Capture new sale lead opportunities via outbound calls/emails and enter data collected into the client management module
  • Perform market research and analyze internal department procedures to achieve all sales targets
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist with any special projects requiring translations
  • Attend new product training sessions as required
  • Attend international trade shows and commercial conferences to stay up-to-date on international sales rules and regulations as required
  • Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

  • 1-2 years prior experience
  • Have a high School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have excellent written and communication skills (Bilingual is a plus- Spanish or other language preferred)
  • Posses Knowledge of various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.
  • Understanding of common business practices relating to pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, payment and services
  • Understanding of Latin American export requirements for compliance.
  • Posses professional and concise verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening skills to fully comprehend customer needs
  • Have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational and conflict resolution skills to effectively work with customers as well as other departments within the company
  • Have a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Possess the ability to handle adversity and conflict with successful outcomes
  • Work systematically and logically to resolve problems
  • Have a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Have proficiency with Microsoft Office and data search/entry
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
