Customer Service Representative - Sycamore, IL
Objective: A Customer Service Representative at Pipestone Veterinary Services is an organized and efficient individual, focused on providing excellent customer service to internal and external clientele. This position will provide record keeping, clerical, scheduling, payment processing, and miscellaneous support roles to the office and veterinary health care team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Ability to work with customers in a friendly and professional manner, tact and diplomacy is a must
- Ability to courteously and professionally answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls utilizing proper telephone etiquette
- Collect financial payments and appropriately apply to customer account
- Accurately and independently complete billing as assigned
- Perform various clerical duties and office support as requested
- Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function to fulfill the requirements of this position
- Provide great attention to detail to help ensure quality service to our clients everyday
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain our unified team through strong communication skills and willingness to assist other team members and departments when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma
Experience: Previous Customer Service experience desired. Livestock and livestock product knowledge is a plus. Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask.
