JOB SUMMARY: 

The Account Manager, Wholesale (Chicago, IL) is accountable for forging, fostering, and maintaining internal accounts for Ascends wholesale business. The ideal candidate has an exceptional grasp of the cannabis wholesale landscape, is able to garner positive relationships and delivers world class customer service to Ascends' IL Retail Stores. They will curate strategies to reach and exceed revenue targets by identifying, prospecting and connecting with opportunities in the market.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES    

• Plan, and execute a comprehensive wholesale roadmap that aligns to company growth strategy within our eight AWH Retail Locations  
• Achieve monthly revenue targets   
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships with wholesale partners and prospects  
• Acts as the primary point of contact for customers   
• Target new markets/regions for expanding wholesale   
• Ability to develop effective relationships with decision makers   
• Conduct pricing, cost analysis   

JOB REQUIREMENTS   

• 2– 5 years of wholesale cannabis experience is required for this role   
• Successful track record   
• Passionate about service delivery standards  
• Ability to effectively negotiate and communicate across various levels   
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including work excel, outlook, and PowerPoint.   
• Must be 21 years of age or older.    
• Must be able to pass background check  
• BS/BC in related field   
• Highly effective communicator   
• Treat people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires the trust of others, works with integrity and ethically, upholds organizational values.  
• Is consistently at work and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
