Join our team on-site/hybrid as a part-time (20-30 hpw) Administrative Assistant at John Deere in East Moline, IL.
Hours: 1-2 days per week on-site for a total of 20-30 hours per week (partially remote)
Hourly Rate of Pay: $27.00 per hour
Qualifications:
- Solid MS Office experience, calendar management, event coordination, and general administrative knowledge.
- Experience in inventory, travel itineraries and arrangements, and office management is highly desired.
- A degree in Business is a huge benefit, but not required.
- Solid work history showing dedication and commitment.
General Job Duties:
Will support Crop Harvesting Engineering Director and staff with the following tasks (20-30 hours per week initially, possibly growing to 40 hours/week, 1-2 days/wk on site):
- Passport and visa applications
- Arrange and coordinate logistics for large offsite and onsite meetings with necessary resources (Teams Live, ON24, Executive Support, etc.)
- Produce reports, correspondence, presentations, and templates
- Extensive research of COVID travel information and contact with ESOC, RSM and Occ health during travel to ensure travelers safety
- Maintain office supplies ordering and inventory for department/building
- Hardware request and IT, HR tickets
- Ordering and set-up food/drinks/refreshments for meetings
- Putting together travel itinerary folders with travel confirmations (flights, car rentals, hotels, COVID related information and agendas)
- Develop and maintain multiple departmental SharePoint sites, which includes document uploads, calendar updates, and the development of templates, agendas, and communications
- Coordinate with desktop computer support for various aspects of department and employee communication devices, cellphone, and laptop issues etc.
- Provide on-site support and access for various consultants and serve as a point of contact for visitors
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars on behalf of leadership and management
- Work closely with Executive Assistants, HR, and Communications to coordinate reviews, meetings, events, and other communications.
- Ordering name plates for new hires or transferring employees for office space
- Support with building arrangements and communication and many other employee development programs to drive results (Employee Headshots, Employee Recognition, ELDP, EDD & Year-end events, Strategy Meetings, Engineering Week, Patent invitation awards events, Monthly Deere Anniversaries etc.)
- Building distribution of items for recognition such as (patent plaques, awards, Yetis, polos, notebooks, chairs etc.)
- Back-up to admin when out of office
- Respond to emails and calls
- Gather, create, and handle highly confidential, sensitive, and restricted information
