Customer Service Representative

Our client in Jersey City is looking to bring on a Customer Service Specialist to join their Benefits team. This is a nationally recognized company that is a third-party administrator of employee benefit plans. This company provides a great culture, casual work environment, and fantastic benefits. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building/maintaining customer relationships and delivering exceptional service to clients. This is a full-time, in-person position Monday – Friday from 8AM – 5PM and pays $19/hr. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Enroll employees in plans, issue invoices, apply contributions, and process claims/payments
- Responsible for the satisfaction of clients with a variety of financial and non-financials day to day tasks
- Communicate with customers daily through phone and email with a sense of urgency
- Research policies and stay up to date with client accounts, government regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a call center or office setting taking calls and email communication
- Self-starter, ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and a good attitude
- Knowledge of MS Office, in addition to general Excel knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
