International Customer Service Representative
- Full-Time
Talks with customers and Sales Representatives by phone and receives orders, change in service or discontinuance - by phone, fax, or email.
Prepares change of address records, and cancels orders.
Oversees warehouse inventory for sales representatives.
Communicates warehouse inventory levels to Sales Representatives and makes recommendations on replenishment.
Handles complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation.
Assigns tariff classifications according to type and weight of freight or merchandise, routing and scheduling shipment by air, rail, or truck.
Reviews documents to ensure that assigned classifications and tariffs are in accordance with mode of transportation and destination of shipment.
Schedules shipments to ensure compliance with international traffic laws and regulations and company policy.
Experience completing paperwork, pertaining to Export Documents, airway bills, Ocean BOL, Commercial invoices, SLI and VGM
Must have experience with International Ocean/ air bookings, tracking and tracing (experience in regions of Asia & Europe strongly preferred)

The ability to adhere to TSA/ KSMS and other government regulatory compliance standards regarding booking and routing of shipments.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
