Job Description

Job Summary

Join our thriving sales team as the National Accounts Coordinator for The Home Depot and Tractor Supply. In the role, you will work alongside the Director of Sales to grow our THD and TSC business by leveraging MAT strengths and capabilities. You’ll work cross-functionally with our internal support teams to optimize business performance and to promote our partnership with these two key customers.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key contacts at THD and TSC that support the sales and service effort.
  • Monitor customer product pricing to ensure margin targets are achieved
  • Review and analyze POS and sales data to ensure all products are meeting performance goals.
  • Oversee and coordinate THD and TSC Product Line Review (PLR) activities.
  • Work with sales and marketing to rationalize unprofitable items and maximizes profits.
  • Monitor sales related expenses to ensure budget targets are met.
  • Participate in the S&OP process
  • Attend relevant trade shows and sales presentations.
Qualifications

Competencies

  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong sales support skills: communicating with customers, motivating team members, preparing sales presentations
  • Strategic thinker, capable of analyzing data and considering optimal solutions
  • Great follow-through, committed to meeting deadlines
  • Solid computer skills, MS Office, EXCEL, Power Point
  • Ability to work in an office environment with a flexible schedule
  • Some travel required including evenings and weekends at sales meetings and trade shows.

Education/Experience

  • 2 to 4 years sales or Marketing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
